perez hilton's lawyer wasn't kidding about those threats. the blogger has simply sued black eyed peas road manager polo molina for battery and infliction of emotional misery over an alleged incident at sunday's muchmusic video awards that left hilton roughed up and distressed sufficient to place an expletive-laden video upon his website.

Here's the hilton disorder , and a statement from lawyer bryan freedman:

"perez hilton was assaulted by the band’s road manager because he would not agree to stay writing about the black eyed peas upon his website perezhiton.com. perez hilton files this lawsuit to protect his freedom of philippic and seeks legal redress against those who hold physically assaulted him because they achieve not love his scrutiny of their album. if you love perez or animosity him , he is entitled to his freedom of philippic without of physical violence. this lawsuit will form the statement that violence is never the response. his initial amendment rights will be vigorously protected.”
