Springsteen came onstage during the initial of two sunday night phish sets to play rock chestnut "mustang sally , " followed by springsteen's "bobby jean" and "glory days." a few days later , sinful phish guitarist trey anastasio , sinful placid basking in the that fame day , sinful says , sinful "i got to play with bruce.sinful that's my hero."
At one point during "bobby jean , " springsteen asked for a "little supplementary keyboard." "we had a little rehearsal room backstage and [springsteen] said 'this song's all with Regards To the keyboard , sinful that little part's gonna be the loudest object in the blend , '" recalls phish keyboardist page mcconnell.sinful "then we got out on stage and started that anthem , sinful he said 'turn up the keyboard.' he can hold been referring to his monitor.sinful i played it as sonorous as i could."
Phish bassist mike gordon says the previous night's springsteen exhibit was the initial boss performance he had seen outside a link of songs at the pete seeger 90th birthday set final month.sinful he now says he sees why springsteen is unobtrusively highly regarded.sinful "it's great to acknowledge that it's not all hype or anything , sinful there's such a solid musician and songsmith standing there , sinful and then to be unobtrusively fastidious and such a gentleman at the same time , " gordon says.

After bonnaroo , sinful phish quickly resumed its hold junket in st.sinful louis june 16 , sinful and will release a new album on the band's hold jemp records this fall.sinful springsteen was in the midst of a european junket before bonnaroo , sinful and next plays the glastonbury (england) festival on june 27.
